5月13日, 2019 the committee met to brainstorm ideas about how to move forward with diversity efforts within the College of Education and 人类服务. The Chair and Co-Chair were unanimously voted and we began the process of developing a mission statement. The committee plans will focus on retention of education 学生, engagement of faculty, 工作人员, 学生, 明矾, and stakeholders and also participate in diversity conferences, and seek grant opportunities. The committee has convened regularly since May 2019 to brainstorm and begin the implementation of our efforts.

The mission of the College of Education and 人类服务 - 多样性, 股本, and Inclusion (COEHS-DEI) 委员会 at Lindenwood University is to cultivate a state of equitable engagement and promote a culture of unity while helping to ensure the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty, 工作人员, and 学生 within the College of Education and 人类服务.
